22/01/2008 - Melbourne company GCCS are pleased to announce they have moved to new premises in Tullamarine, Victoria. A testing chamber has been installed on-site to test cold chain boxes, pallets and airline containers. These can be tested to a temperature profile specified by the client. Until now, there has been limited equipment available to industry in Australia.

Managing Director, Andrew Meyers, says the move was also for strategic reasons.
“Being suppliers to the logistics and transport industries, we needed to be closer to our customers. We outgrew our Heidelberg premises and required more warehousing space,” he said.

With extensive warehousing space, the relocation has also allowed GCCS to install a 7.2 metre x 3.6 m testing chamber on-site, available to the pharmaceutical and logistics industries for hire.

The purpose of the chamber is to test and evaluate GCCS’ clients’ cold chain packaging systems.  “The size of the chamber will accommodate even our largest airline pallet shipper boxes we have developed, which can accommodate a massive 2.32 cubic metres of freight.” Andrew explained.

Global Cold Chain Solutions Pty Ltd is a specialist supplier of cold chain temperature monitoring equipment, services and consultancy solutions.
