Industrial Floor Scales Weigh Biohazardous Waste

The floor scale is being used for weighing industrial bins containing medical waste that is destined for disposal.

Salter custom manufactured the floor scales to suit SteriHealth’s application requiring a low profile scale with ramps. The floor scales were bolted to the concrete floor for immediate use, but eventually will be pit mounted with the weighing platform at ground level for easier bin access.

Salter’s industrial floor scales are approved for trade use and fitted with access ramps for easy positioning of the industrial bins onto the scale platform for weighing. An A&D 4323 digital weight indicator displays the weight readings of the floor scales and also transmits data to a host PC for invoices to be generated based on the weight of waste processed over the floor scales.
