Trolley Scales Engineered For Medical Company

Bob Neumann from Accuwiegh’s Adelaide branch was instrumental in the design and proto-typing of the unit after a request from one of his loyal clients in the medical industry who manufactures various types of blood syrum for medical uses.

The client needed to be able to readily identify the volumes of the many grades of blood serum that are stored in a coldroom without having to excessively man-handle the bladders that the blood syrum is stored in.

These mobile trolley weighing systems ideally suites the client’s application and fulfills all their stock control needs as each different type of blood syrum is stored on clearly identified trolleys.

The digital weight indicators used are Rinstrum R323 units manufactured in full stainless steel and also fitted with internal rechargeable batteries to allow for the extended storage periods in the coldroom.

To check the weight of all bladders stored on a trolley, the operator simply presses a button on the keypad to bring the indicator out of hibernation to allow the weight to be read almost instaneously.
