Age Care Bed - The Oden

The Oden age care bed is a new level in care and functionality.  The result of over four years of development, the Oden has a number of features that assist in caring for residents, improve clinical care, and reduce possible OH&S issues. 

The Oden uses an X lifter to ensure the raising mechanism is within the horizontal plane thereby reducing the footprint of the bed and the possibility of damage to capital equipment such as walls.  The lifting mechanism also allows for a wide range in height adjustment from a very low 280mm to a high of 830mm.  This means that a resident can be lower to the ground reducing the chances of injury, while carers can gain better access by raising the resident to the highest level. 

The Oden also incorporates critical features such as an electric knee break, central locking, leg extension, and bed stripper for no extra cost.  The Oden also has the unique feature of an adjustable head panel that allows for adjustment of a resident’s head.
