BOC Medical - The system is a rugged demand inhalation unit for the administration of Entonox (50% N2O / 50% O2). It was specifically designed for use in emergency and obstetric analgesia and the system is ideal for the relief of pain in a wide range of situations:

• Transport of accident victims
• Accident and Emergency wards
• Minor surgical procedures such as changing dressings, removing sutures, reduction of fractures
• Childbirth

The system consists of a reinforced supply hose colour-coded blue for easy identification, a patient demand swivel valve, patient mask and can be supplied with or without the Entonox regulator.

Disposable mouthpieces are also available for greater patient comfort and use whilst reducing contamination risk. It is recommended that a bacteria filter is always used for each new patient.

The demand valve delivers high flow rates with low triggering pressures, reducing the amount of effort required by the patient to maintain the required flow.

The lightweight, colour coded (blue) demand valve incorporates a 360° patient valve swivel housing and is easily disassembled for cleaning.
