TRUMPF Med Australia commenced in January 2008 following the success of the TRUMPF range of Operating Theatre and Intensive Care products throughout Australia and New Zealand through a distribution network.

The opportunity to establish a dedicated TRUMPF Med company to supply Operating Theatre and Intensive Care products in Australia was due to the outstanding growth and development of its products both locally and overseas.

TRUMPF Med Australia personnel include a number of staff responsible for the TRUMPF Med range of Operating Theatre and Intensive Care products since their introduction to the Australian and New Zealand markets in 2000 and bring a wide range of professionalism to the new company. The TRUMPF Med range of Operating Theatre and Intensive Care products includes:

- Operating theatre table systems and accessories
- Service pendants used in operating theatres, intensive care units, and emergency departments
- Operating light systems, including state of the art LED light, with HD camera and monitor facilities
- Medical equipment carrier
- Theatre equipment trollies

In addition to the TRUMPF Med range of Operating Theatre and Intensive Care products, TRUMPF Med Australia also distributes exclusively the following range of complimentary products:
- MODUL Services and Beam systems for the ICU and NICU
- DERUNGS range of Examination, Minor Procedure lights and Magnifying Lights

The TRUMPF range of products is used extensively throughout the world and the TRUMPF services pendants have been supplied throughout Australia and New Zealand for a number of years.

The TRUMPF iLED Operating Theatre Lights are new to the region in 2008 and the new MARS 2 Operating Theatre tables are a recent addition to the expansive range of operating table systems available from TRUMPF.

The "KOMBITROLL" range of equipment trolleys is used both to compliment the Service Pendant range in ICU and the Operating Theatres, but also used independently due to the wide range of shelf sizes and trolley heights that make them very suitable for "Equipment Stacks" providing cable management channels that improve safety and appearance in their use.

In addition we supply the Modul Beam systems from MODUL Technik, in Germany, who manufactures a wide range of medical services structures and systems that are used extensively throughout the world.

The MODUFLEX 6000 system is particularly suitable for use in ICU and NICU areas offering an overhead beam unit alternative to traditional dual head pendant systems such as the TRUMPF INCAREPORT system.

The DERUNGS brand of products manufactured by WALDMANN in Switzerland supplied by TRUMPF Med Australia includes a wide range of high quality Examination and Minor Procedure lights suitable for use throughout many hospital departments, specialist rooms and laboratories.
