Banners - Rich Media

Our websites runs rich media banners including flash, eye blaster and expandable banners. If you strike the right creative balance, rich media banners can be very effective.

File Sizes: Rich Media - Initial download file size 30k. Subsequent files can only be loaded upon user interaction. Maximum file limit 39kb. Animation length: Max 25 seconds.

Banners - Animated Gifs

This is the most commonly used banner format. We suggest that if you only want to supply one set of banners you should provide an animated gif with your full campaign message plus call to action in the first frame.

This will ensure your banners can be used in our email newsletter. Our email newsletter subscribers are our most core and loyal audience, often choosing to read the newsletter only without going through to the website. For this reason we strongly recommend that banner campaigns have a presence in our newsletter for maximum results.

The reason you should have your full campaign message plus call to action in the first frame is because Outlook 2007 no longer displays animated gifs. It will display the first frame only, but the remainder of your animation will play as normal on the website.

File Sizes: Animate Gifs - Maximum 30 KB. Animation length: Max 25 seconds.
