An EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) provides detailed information about a product’s overall impact on the environment, both during the production phase and throughout the life of the chair. In 2005 HÅG were proud to be the first office chair manufacturer in the world to receive EPD’s on all of their products.
An EPD shows how much energy is expended when making a chair, how much C02 is released, how much of the chair is made from recycled materials and how much of the chair can be recycled.
