Fresenius Medical Care is the world’s leading provider of products and services for people with chronic kidney failure. Around 3.7 million patients with this disease worldwide regularly undergo dialysis treatment. Dialysis is a vital blood cleansing procedure that substitutes the function of the kidney in case of kidney failure. We care for more than 346,000 patients in our global network of more than 4,000 dialysis clinics. At the same time, we operate 44 production sites on all continents, to provide dialysis products such as dialysis machines, dialyzers and related disposables. In Australia, Fresenius Medical Care has been caring for patients undergoing dialysis as a result of chronic kidney failure for more than a decade. As a result, we intimately understand the impact chronic kidney failure has on people's lives. And we are committed to providing outstanding patient care that goes beyond innovative dialysis products and therapies. We care for each patient’s individual situation, whether they want to stay in their familiar surroundings at home or receive dialysis in one of our 21 clinics across the country. As the largest private provider of dialysis care in Australia, our ability to deliver excellent patient outcomes is due to the quality and professionalism of our nursing staff. We employ over 350 full and part time general nursing staff across Australia, who provide dialysis to around 2,800 patients. Our nursing teams share our passion for creating a future worth living for every one of our patients.
