the LMD-3251MT is designed to provide a stress-free viewing experience suited for endoscopic surgery, education or training. The monitor is fully compliant with medical safety standards for hospital operating room use, and its high performance ensures that surgeons can easily view accurate, consistent 3D images with natural depth, allowing them to fully focus on the surgical procedures.

The LMD-3251MT monitor displays 3D images from 3D medical apparatus/devices in HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, and employs a 32-inch α-Si Active Matrix TFT widescreen display panel that minimises colour shift from a wide range of viewing angles. The AR coating of the panel reduces light reflection to maintain high contrast images even in brighter environments.

The panel's energy-efficient LED backlight offers high image brightness as well as lower power consumption, while an advanced 10-bit digital video signal processor delivers smooth, natural tonal gradations for extremely lifelike, accurate image reproduction. The monitor incorporates ChromaTRU™ technology to ensure precise, consistent colour reproduction across multiple monitors, so that the colours displayed are a true representation of the subject.

A key feature of the 3D technology for this monitor is that it employs advanced polarising filter technology with circular polarisation. By wearing light and comfortable passive 3D glasses that require no power source, flicker-free, easy-on-the eye stereoscopic images in HD can be viewed by the wearer. The glasses can be worn with minimum fatigue over extended periods of time, and users can concentrate on their 3D operation without being forced into uncomfortable postures due to the viewing flexibility offered by circular polarisation.

The passive glasses come in a choice of either the BKM-30G or BKM-31G. The BKM-30G comfortably fits most facial shapes, and features a specially designed nose pad and temple tips that hold the glasses securely in place. The lightweight BKM-31G is designed to be attached to a user's own corrective glasses ('clip-on' model) and features a convenient flip-up design.

The LMD-3251MT is extremely user-friendly, possessing features such as a user-memory function, chroma phase control, three preset colour temperature modes (D93, D65, D56) and five user-defined settings. There's also a choice of CRT 2.2 and DICOM gamma curve settings to meet different requirements. The monitor accepts a wide range of input signals including composite, Y/C, RGB/component, HD15 and DVI-D. Dual expansion slots for up to two optional input boards allow the LMD-3251MT to be used as a multi-format monitor, including support for 3G/HD-SDI.

Apart from displaying high-resolution 3D images, the LMD-3251MT can also display images from conventional 2D surgical camera systems in HD resolution. The monitor features a variety of 2D display modes, including Side-by-Side (SBS), Picture-out-Picture (POP) and Picture-in-Picture (PIP).
