ABSi parts can be used from conceptual prototyping through design verification through direct digital manufacturing. Its strength is superior to ABS and the translucent nature of ABSi is beneficial for monitoring material flow and light transmission, most commonly used for medical and automotive applications. When combined with FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) systems, ABSi gives you Real Parts™ that are visually unique, dimensionally accurate, durable and hold shape over time.
This material has a higher impact strength than normal ABS and can be used for automotive lenses or other applications where transparency is required.
- ABSi - translucent (natural), red translucent and amber translucent.
Note: Translucent models require thin walls to get the desired effect.
Note: On-screen and printer color representations may vary from actual colors.
Parts are produced within an accuracy of +/- .005 inch or +/- .0015 inch per inch whichever is greater (+/- .127 mm or +/- .0015 mm per mm whichever is greater).
Note: Accuracy is geometry dependent.
