Alternating Air Mattress WiFi Management System

Supplier: Patient Support Systems

A world first in alternating system management! This multi-media Alternating Air Mattress WiFi Management System displays basic patient information, conducts risk assessment and sends a WiFi alert via email or text if a fault occurs!

Price Guide: POA

This remarkable new Australian innovation consists of a multi-media module attached as standard to our Acute Theraflows but is also available as an optional accessory for any of the other overlays or mattresses in our range.

The multimedia touch screen is housed in an impact, waterproof housing and connected directly to the internal motherboard, charging immediately when the control unit is switched on.

It has the following functions to assist with patient care on an alternating surface:

1. WiFi Alert System
If a fault occurs with the system such as someone accidentally pulling out an air hose or power connector, the system will send an audio and LED alarm as usual - but if this is not responded to, it will also send a WiFi alert to a nominated email address and/or text a designated mobile phone number with information as to the type of fault, the patients name and location in the facility.

2. Patient Information and Location:
A carer can input basic patient information such as name, weight and their location in the facility.

3. Dynamic and Ongoing Risk Assessment:
By selecting options to just six questions, a carer can do a risk assessment of the patient at any time with the results displaying as either Low, Medium or High risk on the home screen.

4. Complete Multimedia Training Videos at the bedside:
All aspects of the correct setup and operation of an alternating overlay or mattress replacement can be selected and played with no video going over 8 minutes.  Important procedures such as testing for "bottoming out" are carefully and clearly explained.

5. Active Messaging Service.
One shift can now leave important messages for the next shift regarding patient care instructions.  A flashing icon appears on the home panel that alerts the recipient.  Up to three messages can be left.
