WIRED UNDER MATTRESS SENSOR PAD

Indigo Care provides a pressure sensitive Under Mattress Sensor Pad that is designed for UNDER MATTRESS to immediately alert staff should a resident leaves the bed.  This is most useful to residents who are at risk of falling out of their bed, or those who require assistance in arising from the bed. The sensor pad may not be suitable for some mattresses ex. air mattress.  The bed sensor pad is connected to your existing nurse call system via the monitor and a Y-Cable. Once the resident removes themselves from the pad and tries to leave the bed, the sensor pad will activate the monitor’s alarm and alert the staff. There are a set of instructions printed on the actual mat. Eyelets at the end of the pad are for easy storage.

Ideally suited for extreme falls risk residents when placed under the shoulder area, it will notify through your nurse call system when the resident is awake and sits up in bed. The transmitter is an exclusive ID encoded RF Transmitter which communicates with the Wireless Receiver Box (RRU) or the Universal Call Point (UCPV5.1). It allows the bed sensor mat to wirelessly transmit an alarm to the call point.

Simply connect the Transmitter to the bed sensor pad. Then teach in the Transmitter to RRU or Dual Function Call Point by following the instructions printed. The sensor pad will now trigger the call point when activated within the transmitting area.
