We have created a user-friendly, yet technologically advanced online WorkSpace which provides each client with a dedicated and secure area where you can upload audio files, download the completed documents, monitor progress and be notified via email on the completion of your job. All work is held in one central location on our 256 bit SSL encrypted server. 

 

Our unique WorkSpace gives you a high degree of autonomy over your transcription needs.  When uploading your audio files you select your desired turnaround time, as well as any other factors relevant to the Job, and Steambot will calculate the cost for you.  You will then be able to track the progress of the Job.

 

Collaboration

WorkSpace gives you or your organisation the ability to collaborate with colleagues, giving everyone in your team the ability to upload audio files and access transcripts from a joint WorkSpace.  This is useful for organisations with offices in multiple locations or even colleagues within the same office.

 

Invoicing

Invoices are emailed weekly as a PDF and have a 14 day payment.  

 

You have the ability to select from a range of options regarding your invoices.  Does your institution require you to verify the contents of the invoice before processing for payment?  There is an option for you to view and verify the invoice before it is created as a PDF.  Should someone else receive a copy of the invoice?  No problem.  Our system will email them a copy of the invoice as well.    Does your organisation require a longer payment time?  Just give us a call.

 

Credit Invoicing

In response to requests from our academic clients we have built a solution for you to self generate a credit invoice.  You simply enter the dollar amount you wish to be invoiced for and hey presto, an invoice is emailed to you immediately.

 

This means no more lost funding due to unmet deadlines or frantically trying to complete the interview phase of your research. 

 

Repository

Clients are able to subscribe to our Repository for a small monthly fee. When an invoice is paid our system purges all audio files and transcripts related to that invoice.  

 

For some clients that can be disastrous, so feel free to use us as a back-up to ensure your valuable transcripts are not lost.
