Indigo Care’s Wired Out of Bed PIR Motion Sensor detects movement with its narrow curtain beam. When a resident crosses the beam’s path, the staff will be alerted through their nurse call system.
The motion sensor can be used as an Out Of Bed/Chair or Room Entry/Exit sensor.
It’s easy to install, can be wall mounted with the attached bracket & has a swivel arm which allows for a 360 degree rotation. The unit also has a separate ON/OFF switch to alleviate false triggers and for manual activation when needed.
The motion sensor is powered by either a 9V Powerpack or a 9V Battery. The kit includes a 3 metre cable, with a 6.3mm mono jack, that connects the PIR to your nurse call system.
It is available as a Single if used on either side of the bed or Dual PIR on both sides of the bed.
