Smooth penetration performance. The precisely honed edges and triple bevel design facilitates the smoothest possible penetration with minimal tissue trauma. The lubricant treatment on the cannula guarantees trouble free insertion into the vein.
Thin-walled for higher flow rates. The thin-walled cannula allows higher flow rates and therefore is ideal for rapid infusions and dosages with high viscosity.
Flexible, memory-less tubing and transparent hub. The tubing is highly flexible and virtually memory-less and therefore eliminates the risk of kinking and disruption of the infusion. For added convenience, both the tubing and the colour coded hub are translucent for easy observation of the contents.
Large colour coded wings. Interlocking wings ensure perfect stability and grip during venipuncture. To conform to the skin surface and to put less pressure on the blood vessel, the wings are slightly angled in relation to the cannula. The wings are colour coded for easy gauge identification.
The Surflo® Winged infusion Sets are latex free.

Terumo's unique technology makes medical treatment kinder and gentler.
Established in 1921 by a group of physicians led by Dr. Shibasaburo Kitasato, Terumo was founded to produce Japan's first quality thermometers. Then as now, the mission of the company was to contribute to society through medicine, by supporting medical progress in the service of health for all.
From those early days of thermometers, Terumo went on to develop such innovations as the world's first hollow fiber Oxygenator and Japan's first disposable medical products. The company today produces a wide range of products, and supplies them to more than 150 countries worldwide.
