WanderALERT  Wrist Transmitter

When the wandering patient approaches an exit door fitted with a WanderALERT Door Kit, the energy field produced by the Resonator causes the Wrist Transmitter to switch ON and send out a signal. The Door Responder senses this signal, but will not alarm until the exit door is opened. Once the door is opened and the patient is close by, the Door Responder raises an alarm to alert staff. When the patient moves away from the exit door the Wrist Transmitter switches OFF to conserve the battery.
