Extensive study was performed on various elastomers and fibres to create the formula for "SimSkin". Our skin has been tested on an Instron E3000 to ensure the accuracy of the tensile strength. All of our models are carefully crafted by hand and are made to accurately simulate human anatomy.
We began as a company catering strictly to the dermatology field and have since expanded, creating models that all members of the medical community can benefit from. All of our models have an epidermis, dermis, and subcutaneous layer. When cutting into our skin it feels as though you are working on a real patient.
