Top loaders are most suited to those with a minimal budget; front loaders are a little more expensive but are more efficient using less water and energy; stacked washer-dryers are great for saving on space.

Commercial

Commercial washing machines are very robust and are built to handle the demands of a laundry that is constantly active. They come in a range of sizes, from 6.5kg to 70kg. Industries that are most suited for these washing machines would include correctional facilities, healthcare, aged care, hotels, laundromats, and commercial laundries. Options for this range include softmount and hardmount. Softmount washers are designed to absorb the shock and are installed on a plinth which is securely attached to the floor. Softmount washers are popular because of their easy installation and can spin much faster. Hardmount washers send the shock into the ground, and therefore require a thick slab of concrete flooring to be attached to. Industrial

Industrial washing machines are extremely heavy duty and come in a range of shapes and sizes. They start at 18kg capacity and go all the way up to 180kg. They’re available in softmount, hardmount, barrier, and tunnel batch washers. They’re best suited to industries such as commercial laundries, large hotels, and any laundries that are processing high amounts of linen daily. They come with a higher price tag but you’re paying for premium products with top speed and durability.
