Effective in maximising the chance for survival of your patient.
Although not everyone can be saved from sudden cardiac arrest, studies show that early defibrillation can dramatically improve survival rates. LifePak CR® Plus AED has the capability to escalate to an industry-leading 360 joules when necessary, providing the extra power that may be needed for hard-to-defibrillate victims. Defibrillation and CPR prompts are consistent with ARC guidelines.
Research suggests that not all sudden cardiac arrest victims are resuscitated with the first shock and over half of all victims need multiple shocks and for those who need multiple shocks, 360 joules improves shock Retuen of Spontaneos Circulation (ROSC.)
Put the LifePak CR® Plus AED in place for you, your staff, visitors or family.
The Australian Resuscitation Council recommends that AED users should be trained in CPR although they do encourage the use of the AED by any competent person when a First Aid trained person is not available.
