MXN-Remote HD-tES
The MxN-5 HD-tES bridges the gap between the simplicity of a standard 1x1 device and the precision of high-density multi-channel systems. It provides 5 independently controlled channels , making it the perfect hardware solution for the widely validated 4x1 Ring Montage (1 Center Anode/Cathode + 4 Return Electrodes), which focally targets cortical regions.
Unlike larger systems that rely on complex PC software for operation, the MxN-5 utilizes Soterix’s signature Open-Panel™ design. This allows operators to adjust intensity, duration, and waveforms using physical knobs and backlit displays, ensuring robust, crash-free operation during critical trials. Despite its simplicity, it is a fully capable HD platform: it supports tDCS, tACS, tPCS, and tRNS waveforms, integrates with Neurotargeting™ software for dose design, and can be stacked with other MxN modules to scale up channel count in the future.
