Product Description
The PCR-1300 workstation is specifically designed to provide a sterile and nucleic acid-free environment for PCR reactions. It has an LCD display and a cold-rolled steel main body with an anti-bacteria powder coating. Toughened anti-UV glass front and side windows protect the operator from harmful UV exposure and an interlock function only allows the UV lamp to be switched on when the front window is closed.
The PCR-1300's UV sterilization system emits at 254 nm and is controlled by a UV timer with a range from 0 - 90 minutes with an automatic cut off when the time expires. It has an adjustable airflow velocity from 0.3 m/s - 0.5 m/s and a pre-filter and HEPA filter with 99.999% efficiency at 0.3μm.
Incorporated into the PCR-1300 is an external shelf and two internal waterproof sockets to connect instrumentation such as vortexers. It also features a memory function in case of power-failure.
Standard accessories include UV lamp, a fluorescent lamp, a base stand, two waterproof sockets and an internal shelf. An optional electric height-adjustable base stand is also available.
