Indigo Care Cordless Doorway Sensor
The unit is simple to use and easy to install on a resident’s door/door frame via the included screw kit.
( Note: Double-sided adhesive tape or Velcro tape can be used but not recommended as the vibration when the door is shut may dislodge the device from the tape).
The Doorway Sensor has 2 parts with each being installed in such a way they must be aligned when the door is closed.
The Cordless DoorWay Sensor communicates with our Cordless Receiver (RRU) or Indigo Care’s Call Points with an in-built RF Receiver module.
The programming(pairing) of the Cordless Doorway Sensor to the Receiver is easy. The programming instruction is the same as with all our cordless devices.
This instruction is also available on the front cover of our Cordless Receiver (MED-RRU).
The Doorway Sensor will alert the staff via the nurse call system when the door is opened or closed (exited) during unauthorized hours of the day.
Powered by a CR2032 Coin Battery, the unit also has a separate ON/OFF switch for activation mode when required.
This makes it easy for caregivers and staff to monitor the movements and ensure the safety of the residents.
The Cordless Doorway Sensors are available now.
