Technical Specifications

Each package contains six small strips, each measuring 7 x 3 cm. The strips are made from medical-grade polymerized siloxanes (clear silicone gel) with a Lycra (Spandex) fabric liner.

Usage Instructions

For optimal results, wear the Epi-Derm Silicone Gel Sheeting for 24 hours per day. If this is not possible, a minimum of 12 hours per day is required. The gel sheeting should be washed once daily and reapplied to the scar. The optimal period of use is typically 8 to 12 weeks.

How It Works

Silicone gel sheeting creates an ideal healing environment by balancing moisture and oxygen exposure. It encapsulates the scar site, allowing oxygen to enter while keeping excess moisture out. This helps the scar blend with surrounding tissue, resulting in a more natural appearance.
